The Community Workplace Diversity Award honors an individual, group or organization from the communitywho has made an outstanding contribution in fostering workplace diversity in Western Pennsylvania.
The individual, group or organization should meet the following criteria: Working toward attracting and retaining skilled individuals from diverse backgrounds; promoting ethnic and gender diversity within the workplace; educating co-workers, government officials, employers or the general public within the region on the benefits of developing a diverse community; and advocating for employers, government officials and non-profits to collaborate to make Western Pennsylvania more attractive to individuals from multicultural backgrounds. |
