Ralph C. Wilde Awardfor Outstanding physician, teacher, leader and human beingEstablished in 1975, the Ralph C. Wilde Award is considered the most prestigious ACMS award. It is presented to a member of the Allegheny County Medical Society who exemplifies the personal and professional characteristics - physician, teacher, leader and human being - of the late ACMS president for whom this award is named. It is NOT given annually, but rather only when a candidate of Dr. Wildes high ideals is nominated. Anyone may make one or more nominations of ACMS members; any member in good standing is eligible.
