	PAMED Announces Annual 2011 Resident and Fellow Section Clinical Poster Competition Resident and fellow members of the Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) are invited to submit clinical abstracts for consideration to present at PAMED’s annual poster contest.   Cash prizes of $500, $350, and $200 will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.  In addition, the top three finishers will be featured on PAMED’s Better Health Network™ website as well as in the Better Health Network eZine, a new online magazine.   Submit your clinical abstract here.   Abstract submission deadline: Monday, Aug. 15, 2011 (no later than 5:00 PM EST) Details and submission guidelines.
	Employment Contract Review Service The Allegheny County Medical Society has partnered with Michael A. Cassidy, Esquire, Chair of the Healthcare Practice Group for the Pittsburgh law firm Tucker Arensberg, to create a program that will assist residents and fellows achieve financial and personal objectives through a thorough evaluation of employment contracts.
