2nd Annual Hypertension Symposium

Over the last decade, hypertension has risen to the number one factor in the global burden of disease. Despite the increased awareness and improved treatment of hypertension, the prevalence of hypertension is rising and controlled rates are stagnant. Medical guidelines aim to steer clinicians toward best practices. The hypertension clinical practice guidelines from the American College of Cardiology (ACC), and the American Heart Association (AHA) raises important questions about hypertension diagnosis and treatment.
The 2nd Annual Hypertension Symposium: Challenges in Hypertension Management will address challenging situations in patients with Hypertension to include: Hypertension and Stroke, Endocrine Hypertension, Hypertension and Cardio-Onco-Nephrology, Drug-induced Hypertension, Hypertension in Diabetes and the role of SGLT2 inhibitors, Hypertension and Pregnancy. The program features a Keynote Address on: Neurogenic Orthostatic Hypotension and Supine Hypertension Pathophysiology Driven Management.
