 cement Agency (DEA) will be holding listening sessions involving the presc
 ribing of controlled substances by way of telemedicine.\n\nThe DEA is invi
 ting health care providers to attend in-person and express their views reg
 arding the advisability of:\n\n 	Prescribing Controlled Substances during 
 telemedicine visits without the in-person evaluation being required at all
 .\n 	Availability and types of data that would be useful in detecting dive
 rsion of controlled substances by way of telemedicine that is already repo
 rted or could be reported.\n 	Specific safeguards that could be placed aro
 und the prescribing of Schedule II Controlled Substances by way of Telemed
 icine.\n\nThe DEA is accepting applications for in-person attendance throu
 gh August 21\, 2023.\n\nREAD MORE\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAlthough there will be app
 lications required to attend in-person or to present\, the DEA will be liv
 e-streaming both events. These events will run from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ea
