 ee is pleased to welcome featured guest presenter:\n\nKristen Sandel\, M
 D\, FACEP\, FAAEM\n174th President  Pennsylvania Medical Society\n\
 nDr. Sandel is Chair of Emergency Medicine at WellSpan Ephrata C
 ommunity Hospital (ECH)\, President of the Medical Staff at ECH\,
  and current Chair of the Emergency Department Boarding and Over
 crowding Taskforce.\n\nDr. Sandel has been an active member in PAMED and 
 the Berks County Medical Society since 2006\, and after being inaugurated 
 in January 2024\, said\, “I am honored to serve as the president
  of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. I have been fortunate to 
 have wonderful mentors within PAMED\, who have moved us forward 
 in my time. As I take office\, I plan to focus on helping my
  colleagues restore the joy of practicing medicine and lead to\,
  most importantly\, better serving the patients of Pennsylvania.
