ACMS Member Benefits

Benefits of ACMS Membership:

Local Advocacy

At the ACMS, we understand that the issues that face physicians in Western PA are different than the issues facing physicians in other parts of the state. We advocate and create awareness around the issues that matter most to our members. We also actively engage in the Pennsylvania Medical Society’s House of Delegates, which allows Allegheny County Physician’s to have a voice in what types of policy the PAMED Board of Trustees and Legislative team focus in on for the coming year.

Understand Regulatory, Licensing, and Reimbursement Changes

We’re here to answer your questions about health system reform, licensure requirements, scope-of-practice, and reimbursement issues. If we don’t know the answer, we’ve got many resources at our disposal to help get you an answer.
